I’m very thankful to have had my last wedding ever be such a special couple as Brittany and Gray. Brittany baby sat my kids when they were little and she was younger. Her parents are amazing leaders in our church. The pastor who did the wedding is one of my best friends. All the vendors involved from the make-up artist (Marz) to the DJ (Ubi) have been industry friends for so many years. I was able to photograph this wedding with my business partner, Paul Thomas, who has been a loyal friend for so many years. I really have to say this is a very special wedding to wrap up a career.
Praying over the bride.
The couple wanted to pray together before the wedding but without actually seeing each other. The bridesmaids helped position them back to back so they could hold hands and pray. The tension of holding hands, praying, exchanging gifts and talking to each other minutes before the ceremony but without seeing each other was powerful.
Seeing dad moments before the ceremony.
The view of the Rusty Pelican can’t be beat.
I’m going to treasure this picture.
Dad’s classic Mustang is the way to go for a grand exit.
I feel like I should have more words. Something deep or insightful to say after shooting over 300 weddings. I’m very thankful. Thank you Brittany and Gray for letting me be a part of your special day!
