We have been shooting weddings non stop since October and been really behind on all the blogging. As always we are prioritizing delivering of images and products to our clients to have one of the fastest turn around times that we know of but sort of left the blog behind, but we need to catch up on all the awesome weddings we have been photographing. This particular wedding was very different in that Elodie, Cedric and their whole families were French which brought a cultural dynamic to their wedding that was really special and beautiful. Definitely one of the best parts of being a wedding photographer specially in Miami, is being able to photograph all the diverse cultures of the world and witness love from every country. Not only was this a French wedding but it was also a Jewish ceremony with all the beauty and culture that Jewish weddings have. The mix of French culture and Jewish tradition in the gorgeous panoramic setting of the Thalatta Estate made this wedding superb. Elodie and Cedric are soft spoken, a bit shy, yet love to party with friends and family which made our talents of photographing candid moments a great match for them.
A special thanks to Emilie Hannoun from Five Star Events for planning this gorgeous event.
Emilie from Five Star Events created a beautiful arrangement of flowers to decorate the top of the chuppah.
I love the long path that the Thalatta Estate offers the bride to walk down. It makes the expectation that much more intense.
The un-veiling. What a beautiful moment. Its that moment when Cedric gently lifts the veil to see his bride.
Unfortunately it started sprinkling during the ceremony. No one left. Guests covered themselves with the seat cushions. No one cared. Love was happening. Even though I was also getting rained on, I wasn’t putting my camera down either.
Because of the rain probability a beautiful tent was set up for the reception. The tent was gorgeously decorated by Five Star Events and provided a beautiful space for an outdoor reception.
This party started fast and hard immediately. Here we see the first signs that this is going to get crazy and fun…the bride jumping to crowd surf!
Here we have the traditional henna ceremony.
Elodie and Cedric, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me into your beautiful world.
